HFL Breakout Players - 2026
King moves up to #1 on this list because the committee has officially given up on "Marshall Hendrix becoming a superstar". King's time is coming, however.
2. Jackson Brown Jr. WR/Colts
The role continues to expand in the offense, so much so that the team has been recently shopping Auden Tate. It's been Hardman in the past. Then, it was the two Statons. Brown could very easily be the next wide receiver in line for a hug spike in numbers.
3. Rueben Micok OT/Washington Football Team
How many rookies have made the Pro Bowl in the history of the HFL? Don't worry, I'll wait.
4. Josiah McDonald S/Broncos
The Defensive Rookie of the Year has been flying around the field in Vic Fangio's defense.
5. Matthew Mann LB/Eagles
McDonald's runner up will be always tied as his hip. The conversation moving forward will be who is the better anchor of their respective defense.
6. Remmy Bridgewater LB/Rams
Already proven to be an effective blitzer and coverage specialist. His one weakness is taking on blocks in the running game, but that's what you got
7. D'Jonte Wilkerson TE/Cowboys
From 5 touchdowns as a situational chess piece in McCarthy's offense to the projected new starter.
8. Copium Jones LB/Chiefs
He's become an incresingly important part of the Chiefs' defense. He's on this list again because many are hoping he takes the leap from "quality starter" to potentially next year's Top 100 list and/or a Pro Bowl appearance.
9. Vince McMahon LB/Vikings
Seldom used as a rookie, but that's often the case with rookie linebackers. Like pretty much everyone else on this list, the #2 overall pick in 2025 will have a much bigger role in reigning Coach of the Year Mike Zimmer's defense.
10. Darogabo Omujiya OG/Washington Football Team
One of 2025's most massive improvements from Year 1 to Year 2. Daro had a very shaky rookie year but rebounded really nicely to only allow 1 sack in 2025.
