HFL Breakout Players - 2025

 The next list pertains to who is expected to really take another step - or multiple steps - in this upcoming HFL season. 25. Jahron Brathwaite - CB/Cowboys It's not a great cornerback group in Dallas, but it's a number of guys that are of similar caliber that all have to battle each other to earn snaps. Brathwaite being the youngest of the group with the highest upside.  24. Henry Tatum - IDL/Colts The Colts are patiently bringing Tatum along to fill the vacated Grover Stewart role next to DeForrest Buckner.  23. Damarious Beckum - S/Washington Football Team The converted cornerback and former 8th overall pick showed tremendous improvement last year, after his position change. Another leap could help form one of the most dynamic and versatile Safety combinations in the league. 22. 2025 HFL Top 100

Beginning a new annual tradition here: the countdown of the Top 100 players in the HFL, as we head into the 2025 season. The list is hard to quantify players as a whole, obviously, so multiple factors are taken into consideration. Simulation performance, plus stats, plus performance in nationally televised games, plus track record from seasons prior to 2024, plus awards, a player's ability to perform his role, and a player's impact on his team and its offensive/defensive unit are all taken into consideration to come up with one composite ranking. Any individual player's performance is defined by more than just one singular stat so, around here, we look at the game deeper than just " so-and-so had more yards/interceptions/sacks/etc. than so-and-so ".  100.
